Lovely shaped bowl with interesting glaze from the acknowledged Danish pottery L. Hjorth, Bornholm

The bowl is covered with light brown glaze with speckles in grey blue, olive green and rust - look at images to see the patterns it makes.

Probably from the 1940s or 50s.

On the bottom signed with:
L Hjorth Denmark stag symbol 010


Very good used condtion
No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Minor pinholes at one spot from production - see image

The pottery L. (Lauritz) Hjorth was founded on the Danish island of Bornholm in 1859, a place so known for their great pottery tradition. Also Michael Andersen and Søholm were situated here.
