Dybdahl Keramik was run by the couple Margrethe (1916-1999) and Palle Dybdahl (1918-2001) from 1952 to the 90s. Palle made the shapes of the pieces and Margrethe made the decoration. Margrethe had studied at the Rostrup-Boyesens Art School and the School of Design in the 30s. The most known decor are these feather or leaf like pattern but she also painted figurative motif and they made figurines. Palle made stamps of masks, smiling suns, flowers and so on which were stamped on the rough clay.
