A pair of Danish vintage Børge Mogensen wingback chairs model no. 2204.
They are upholstered with the original black leather and the legs are made of solid walnut.
The cushions are filled inside with granules and natural feathers which gives the chairs very good seating comfort.
The chairs are made by Fredericia Stolefabrik and remains in good vintage condition with patina. See images of cushions with crackled leather.
This furniture series designed by Børge Mogensen in the 1960s is distinguished by being suitable for all kinds of interiors.
The masculine expression contains fine feminine features which can be seen especially in the width of the slim armrests and beautiful straight legs.
The series includes 2- and 3-person sofas, 3 different low and 1 high wingback chair and finally the special coupe sofa.
