Lamp including new quality lampshade!

Rare to find sculptural table lamp made by Danish ceramist Erik Graeser, ca. 1960s to 70s.

It´s made of ceramic covered with glaze in earthy colours and has a top made of teak.

- - - - The Lamp shade
The lamp shade we’ve chosen for this lamp has been selected with great care to make the lamp look beautiful and well proportioned and spread a comfortable light and Scandinavian “Hygge”. It is a new quality lamp shade designed in Denmark made of woven fabric with some texture and it’s off white. It includes a top cover so it will spread a cosy light downwards. The top cover is a typical Danish tradition because we care so much about the quality of light. It’s difficult to find this lovely type of lamp shades in other countries. But the topcover is loose so can also be removed if you prefer it that way.

About Erik Graeser (1927-2002)

Erik Graeser was a Danish sculptor and ceramist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts from 1944-1950. He ran his own ceramic studio from 1951 and was a teacher at the Danish Design School in Kolding (Kolding Kunsthåndværkerskole) from 1968-1971. He worked with ceramic, bronze and granite and took part in many exhibitions.
