Danish Modern Royal Copenhagen Tall "Baca" Vase by Johanne Gerber, Ceramic 1970s

Rare tall ceramic vase from Royal Copenhagen "Baca" series. It's designed by Johanne Gerber and manufactured in the period 1969 to 1974.

This vase features a handpainted abstract bird decor and has a tactile surface.

Due to production process each piece from the "Baca" series has a unique expression.

The shape of the vase was designed by Nils Thorsson and was used both for the "Tenera" and "Baca" series. 

The vase is marked on bottom with Royal Copenhagen backstamp including the 3 waves, the model and decor numbers, the cipher of Johanne Gerber in the "Baca"- circle and the signature of the painter.

The vase is a factory first edition and in very good vintage condition.
No chips, cracks or repairs. No crazing as far as I can see.
