Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand Vase AXZ, Midcentury Scandinavian Ceramic 1960s

Absolutely stunning glaze on this vase by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand Sweden.
It's the model AXZ and it was designed and manufactured circa 1950s to 1960s.

The vase has an elegant shape with very thin lips towards the top. The glaze colors are brown, ochre and blue mixed into each other showing a color play that reminds of the Northern light "Aurora Borealis". 

There is a decent stripe decor underneath the glaze that emphasizes the shape.

On verso marked with the Rörstrand logo, GN (for Gunnar Nylund) Sweden and AXZ.

Factory first! 
Excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
